Medical Oncologist – Multiple Disease Site Options (Phase I Clinical Trials)

Salary: $255,670–$331,507 annually, plus incentive compensation based on clinical productivity.

What you will do

• Serve as Principal Investigator for Phase I and other early-phase clinical trials, including investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies.
• Lead the development, activation, execution, and strategic growth of the early-phase clinical trials program.
• Develop an externally visible clinical and translational research program with institutional support.
• Collaborate with translational scientists, basic scientists, and multidisciplinary teams on first-in-human and biomarker-driven studies.
• Provide clinical oncology care, share inpatient and consult service coverage, and participate in night and weekend coverage with fellows providing primary support.
• Mentor trainees, junior faculty, and research staff while contributing to teaching and scholarly activity.

Requirements

• MD or MD/PhD with board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
• Demonstrated experience as Principal Investigator on Phase I or early-phase clinical trials.
• Academic productivity, including peer-reviewed publications and clinical trial leadership.
• Experience or strong interest in collaborations with pharmaceutical and biotechnology partners.
• Commitment to an academic career focused on early-phase clinical research and program leadership.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts required.
