Staff DevOps Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; office attendance is required three days per week, and candidates must be located close to the Lisbon office.

What you will do

• Architect resilient and scalable cloud-native service infrastructure for multiple regions.
• Build and continuously optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation for server provisioning and application deployment.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale application services and AWS infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with software development departments and participate in project planning and strategic planning.
• Document work and projects, mentor team members, and drive knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE and 6+ years working with Linux and Windows systems.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and AWS services, including EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, OpenSearch, S3, FSx, Route 53, and network appliances.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, or alternative CI systems and continuous delivery tools for microservices.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, preferably with Terraform.
• Experience monitoring Kubernetes clusters, APM, services, and AWS infrastructure with tools such as New Relic and Prometheus.
• Coding experience and ability to create automation tools in Go, Python, Bash, and PowerShell; understanding of software development lifecycle and microservice architecture.
