Manufacturing Support Associate I/II (Biotech)

What you will do

• Perform routine and nonroutine cleaning of GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Operate and maintain the process-waste area, including cleaning drums and dollies.
• Handle and discard hazardous and nonhazardous waste safely.
• Prepare, build, and complete processing assemblies for production.
• Complete facilities response forms and coordinate environmental monitoring sampling with other departments.
• Stock general supplies in manufacturing production areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or associate degree.
• Level I: 0+ years of experience; Level II: 2+ years of experience.
• Aseptic and gowning qualifications are required.
• Ability to read and interpret English safety rules, SOPs, and procedure manuals, and to communicate with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to use Word, Excel, email, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, wear steel-toe shoes, and push, pull, squat, lift, reach, and carry waste as required.

• 12-hour dayshift schedule: 7 a.m.–7 p.m. on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule; overnight work may be required.
• Work includes cleanroom operations and wearing cleanroom attire with strict personal-hygiene requirements.
• Respirator use is required when working with Spor-Klenz; facial hair must be short enough to ensure a proper seal.
• The environment includes mechanical, chemical, electrical, noise, and slip-and-fall hazards.
• Moderate to high workplace noise levels.
