Analyst II, GBS Global Blackline (BlackLine)

What you will do

• Administer the BlackLine platform, including user roles, permissions, security settings, master data, calendars, reports, and system maintenance.
• Monitor imports and interfaces from subledgers and local ERPs, troubleshoot issues, and support system updates, upgrades, and testing.
• Provide user training, documentation, access guidance, and operational support for global accounting teams and local system administrators.
• Support BlackLine implementations, module enhancements, ERP integrations, automation initiatives, and process standardization across regions.
• Generate reports and dashboards, analyze usage and performance trends, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Support internal, external, and SOX financial audits while collaborating with finance, IT, data assurance, BlackLine, and consulting teams.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Required experience with BlackLine and a strong understanding of financial systems and accounting close processes.
• Basic understanding of accrual-based accounting principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global users, accounting teams, IT, and technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP or HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).
• Experience working with FTP servers and API connections.
