Senior Driver Operations Specialist (Marketplace Operations)

Location: Hybrid in Almaty, Kazakhstan; frequent and extensive travel across international markets is required.

What you will do

• Lead driver operations across expansion markets and own operational performance and driver supply health.
• Set up and launch new markets and cities, covering preparation, planning, execution, stabilization, and scaling.
• Monitor driver acquisition, registration, verification, activation, conversion, supply, engagement, retention, and performance metrics.
• Build dashboards, reports, and monitoring frameworks for driver funnel and market performance visibility.
• Identify operational gaps in underperforming markets, define recovery plans, and drive execution with local teams.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Business, Product, Legal, Finance, Verification, Customer Support, and other functions on launches and growth.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Driver Operations, Marketplace Operations, Growth Operations, Business Operations, Market Expansion, or a similar role.
• Experience with driver or supply-side metrics, onboarding, verification, activation, engagement, retention, and conversion funnels.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with operational KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and performance analysis.
• Experience coordinating market launches, multiple operational workstreams, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Proven ability to lead complex operational projects independently from planning through execution.
• Fluent written and spoken English, willingness to travel frequently, and advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.

• Experience in ride-hailing, mobility, taxi, transportation, logistics, delivery, or another marketplace business.
