Tax Senior Manager (Industrial and Consumer Products)

Location: Hybrid role in Rancho Cordova, California, USA. Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is preferred.

Salary: $142,200–$195,350 per year.

What you will do

• Deliver federal tax compliance and consulting services for industrial and consumer products clients.
• Lead day-to-day client relationships and advise clients on tax matters.
• Provide guidance on corporate and flow-through taxation, accounting methods, ASC 740, and special projects.
• Research tax issues, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and develop client recommendations.
• Coordinate with state and local, high-net-worth, international, R&D, credits, and incentives tax specialists.
• Manage engagement staffing, billing, collections, profitability, business development, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• Four-year degree required; a master's or other advanced degree is preferred.
• CPA, law license, or Enrolled Agent credential required.
• Eight years of tax compliance and consulting experience in a professional services firm.
• Five years of supervisory experience, including mentoring and counseling associates.
• Management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Strong software and Microsoft Suite skills, ethical judgment, attention to quality, and ability to lead teams.
