Senior QA Engineer (Remote-Brazil)

What you will do

• Maintain and extend the test automation framework using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Manually test completed tickets throughout the development cycle, including edge cases, error states, and unhappy paths.
• Exercise invalid data, unexpected action sequences, and boundary conditions to identify defects missed by standard functional testing.
• Perform full regression testing before weekly releases across web and mobile experiences.
• Write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports for engineering teams.
• Use AI tools, including Claude, to support test case design, exploratory testing, and bug investigation.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of professional manual validation experience for web-based applications.
• Deep expertise in designing complex test scenarios for error states, edge cases, boundary conditions, invalid data, and non-standard user workflows.
• Experience working in high-velocity environments with weekly releases and continuous testing throughout the development lifecycle.
• Technical proficiency in maintaining and extending automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven platforms such as Claude for exploratory testing, bug analysis, and test case architecture.
• Strong Jira or TestRail skills and exceptional English communication abilities required for daily collaboration with teams in the US and Brazil.
