Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (SOC)

What you will do

• Monitor and analyze alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and other security tools.
• Perform advanced threat hunting and investigate complex incidents to determine scope, impact, and root cause.
• Lead response to high-severity events, including containment, eradication, recovery support, documentation, and post-incident reviews.
• Research emerging threats and vulnerabilities; develop, tune, and maintain detection rules, use cases, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Advise executive leadership, prepare technical reports and executive summaries, and coordinate with SOC, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and contribute to SOC process improvement and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or a SOC environment.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel.
• Proven experience in incident response, threat hunting, and EDR tools.
• Strong knowledge of network security, log analysis, event correlation, malware analysis, forensic methodologies, and MITRE ATT&CK or Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting, plus strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• GSEC, GCIH, CISSP, GCTI, CEH, or equivalent industry certification.
• Experience managing SOC or providing cybersecurity consultation services.
• Knowledge of SOAR platforms, security automation, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Project management experience.
