Senior Software Engineer, Message Delivery (Golang)

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania

Salary: From €6,000 gross per month, based on experience

What you will do

• Contribute to product development decisions and design, develop, and test features.
• Build and maintain reliable, fast, and compliant delivery infrastructure for email, SMS, and push notifications.
• Resolve technical challenges affecting system functionality, performance, scalability, and availability.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production features.
• Share engineering best practices with colleagues and collaborate with Product, Support, and Customer Success.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and maintaining scalable, highly available, high-load systems.
• Senior full-stack engineering experience with a preference for backend development.
• Experience with Golang, or another backend programming language together with willingness to learn Golang.
• Proficiency with databases, modern software build pipelines, and tools.
• Experience with real-time distributed messaging tools such as NSQ or Pub/Sub.
• Experience with a cloud provider and event-based architecture; hirify.global uses Google Cloud Services.
