Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Drammen, Norway

What you will do

• Optimize line utilization and process parameters, and maintain related procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure production follows approved process parameters and collaborate with R&D on product specifications.
• Use OEE and operational KPI data to improve efficiency and material cost performance.
• Test and validate existing and new materials with material engineering colleagues.
• Own the Continuous Improvement roadmap for Drammen operations and logistics.
• Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and 6S initiatives, including processes for medium-voltage rubber production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or a two-year technical school technician qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in cable production.
• Knowledge of rubber production and medium-voltage products up to 36 kV is preferred.
• Strong implementation capacity, structured working style, IT skills, and good communication and motivational abilities.
• English language skills are required.
