FT Relief Pharmacist (Pharmacy)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; travel to various locations is required according to the Relief Pharmacist program schedule.

Salary: CAD 41.60–55.90 per hour, based on relevant experience.

What you will do

• Support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Accept prescriptions and refill requests from customers, doctors, and hospitals.
• Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely while following established workflows.
• Counsel patients on pharmaceutical products and provide eligible services such as medication reviews and injections.
• Maintain pharmaceutical product storage, patient privacy, equipment operation, and compliance with provincial regulations.
• Build collaborative relationships with district managers, healthcare providers, clinics, and other store stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pharmacist license required.
• Additional Prescribing Authorization may be used as an optional permit in Alberta.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to travel to various locations and follow schedules set by the Relief program coordinator.
• Ability to operate pharmacy equipment, including registers and computer systems.
• Ability to follow OBWs, SOPs, Relief Pharmacist program requirements, and provincial regulatory standards.
