TL;DR
Full-Time Floater Pharmacist (Community Pharmacy): Providing prescription verification, dispensing, medication counselling, and clinical support across multiple pharmacy locations in Calgary and surrounding areas with an accent on patient-focused care, operational coverage, and adapting to different teams and workflows. Focus on maintaining accurate Kroll records, collaborating across locations, and independently supporting varied patient populations.
Location: Calgary and surrounding areas, Alberta; on-site across multiple pharmacy locations
Compensation: CAD $52–$56/hour + CAD $1.50/hour floater premium; approximately CAD $104,325–$112,125/year including the premium. Up to 7.5% short-term incentive bonus and CAD $0.66/km mileage reimbursement.
What you will do
- Provide pharmacist coverage across different pharmacy locations, teams, workflows, and patient populations.
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately.
- Provide medication counselling, clinical support, and patient-focused care.
- Support pharmacy operations and collaborate with different pharmacy teams.
- Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records using the Kroll system.
Requirements
- Pharmacist licensed to practice in Alberta.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
- Comfort working across multiple locations with an adaptable and independent approach.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Availability for full-time schedules covering Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM and weekends from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.
