Software Engineer (Physical AI)

Location: Fremont Office, on-site

Salary: $150,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

Builds a unified robotics platform combining robotic hardware with a Physical AI operating system for developing and deploying robots.

What you will do

• Build scalable infrastructure for robot data ingestion, processing, storage, and dataset lifecycle management.
• Develop systems for model training, evaluation, versioning, deployment, and serving.
• Build agent runtime systems for execution, orchestration, memory, and model integration.
• Develop experimentation infrastructure for measuring model quality, regressions, and performance.
• Improve reliability, scalability, observability, and cost efficiency across data and model systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data infrastructure, ML infrastructure, or distributed systems.
• Strong experience with large-scale data pipelines, distributed computing, model serving, or ML platforms.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, storage, containers, and orchestration.
• Familiarity with model training, inference, evaluation, and experimentation workflows.
• Ability to work on-site at the Fremont office.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, autonomous driving, multimodal data, or AI infrastructure.
