TL;DR
Lead Enterprise Software Engineer - DevOps (AI): Designing and operating cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and AI-enabled Expert Solutions across Azure and AWS with an accent on Infrastructure as Code, DevSecOps, Kubernetes, and reliability engineering. Focus on building scalable containerized and serverless platforms, embedding observability and security, automating operational work with AI, and mentoring DevOps engineers.
Location: Bitritto, Italy; hybrid work. Applicants may be required to attend onsite interviews at a office.

What you will do
- Lead the design, implementation, and automation of scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS using Terraform and Ansible.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerized and serverless architectures, and reusable platform automation patterns.
- Drive AI capabilities and AI-assisted operational automation across engineering workflows and delivery pipelines.
- Establish observability standards covering SLIs, SLOs, monitoring, logging, alerting, and proactive incident detection.
- Apply SRE, DevSecOps, security-by-design, and Infrastructure as Code practices to improve reliability and reduce operational toil.
- Mentor DevOps engineers, lead incident resolution and root cause analysis, and contribute to architecture and modernization decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Release Engineering, or Software Engineering with production-critical systems.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least one Azure or AWS certification.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS, Terraform or CloudFormation, Kubernetes, Docker, and highly available cloud-native systems.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub; scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; and Linux and Windows environments.
- Experience with AI-assisted tools, prompt engineering, AI-enabled pipelines, observability, incident management, reliability engineering, and leading or mentoring engineers.
Nice to have
- Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, FinOps, AI observability, or Open Telekom Cloud.
