Tax Accountant (Indirect Tax)

What you will do

• Enter transactional data accurately, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
• Prepare tax filings, quarterly tax provisions, and required federal, state, county, and local tax reports.
• Respond to tax notices and inquiries and assist with tax audits.
• Research filing errors, assess invoice taxation, and make approved corrections.
• Support department administration, including scheduling, filing, correspondence, mail, and materials distribution.
• Maintain internal controls, tax calendars, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, plus 2–3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Previous indirect tax experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable vehicle types and an acceptable driving record.
• Confidentiality, accuracy, organization, professionalism, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
