Staff Physician-Hospitalist (Pediatric Hematology/Oncology)

Salary: $167,377–$347,630 per year

What you will do

• Provide inpatient night-shift care and urgent care in the 24/7 on-site outpatient acute care clinic.
• Evaluate patients, order and interpret diagnostic studies, diagnose disease, prescribe treatment, and monitor clinical response.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, primary oncologists, subspecialists, patients, and families.
• Supervise assigned clinical staff, support scheduling and continuing education, and facilitate clinical experiences for postdoctoral fellows.
• Participate in medical education, clinical research, quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and compliance reporting.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics.
• Experience in Pediatrics or a relevant specialty is preferred.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Tennessee is required.
• Active unrestricted privileges at hirify.global must be maintained.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care for infants, toddlers, school-age children, and adolescents.
• Availability for approximately 14 shifts per month, including possible weekdays, weeknights, and weekends; shifts are 9–12.5 hours.
