Senior Project Manager – Engineering

Location: Hybrid in Istanbul, Kozyatağı, Türkiye

What you will do

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery across multiple engineering workstreams, tracking priorities, progress, timelines, blockers, dependencies, and risks.
• Own and improve Jira workflows, ticket structures, sprint boards, backlogs, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
• Facilitate standups and support sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Coordinate planning, estimation, prioritization, handoffs, and dependencies across software development, infrastructure, integration, AI/ML, data, QA, DevOps, and security initiatives.
• Build delivery metrics and status reports, translating technical progress and risks into clear updates for engineering leadership and global stakeholders.
• Support client-facing product and platform demonstrations and help onboard new engineers to delivery processes and tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in a similar role within software engineering or technology.
• Hands-on Jira experience is required, including workflows, boards, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
• Strong command of Agile/Scrum practices and experience coordinating multiple technical teams or workstreams simultaneously.
• Technical understanding sufficient to follow engineering discussions and produce clear delivery, status, and risk reporting.
• Professional proficiency in English and Turkish is required for meetings, written communication, reporting, presentations, and international collaboration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in Istanbul, Kozyatağı.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, biotech, health-tech, or another regulated industry.
• Experience coordinating external software development vendors or technology partners.
• Experience with AI/ML, data-intensive, infrastructure, DevOps, or security teams.
• Experience delivering product or technical demonstrations to clients or business stakeholders.
• PMP, PSM, CSM, PMI-ACP, or a similar project or Agile management certification.
