MFM Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Tufts Medical Center; onsite schedule of 7:30am–5:00pm, four 9-hour shifts with a set day off. No call, weekends, evenings, or holidays required.

Pay range: $48.60–$61.96 per hour. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered to new external hires.

What you will do

• Perform maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound procedures independently according to department policies and radiological standards.
• Verify patient identity, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination requirements.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and maintain patient and staff safety during examinations.
• Perform equipment and device quality control, maintain work areas, and manage imaging supplies.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and service lines.
• Participate in education and training, including teaching students and supporting new technologists.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) credential.
• ARDMS OB/GYN specialist certification.
• Two years of experience as an MFM Ultrasound Technologist.
• Knowledge of ultrasound equipment, examinations, and procedures, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand frequently, walk, lift 30–35 pounds, operate radiology equipment, and work around bodily fluids and communicable diseases.
