What you will do

• Set up, operate, maintain, and monitor laboratory instruments and experiments.
• Perform manufacturing and quality control processes in accordance with GMPs, SOPs, safety rules, technical methods, and production schedules.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analysis of raw materials, monomers, polymers, and suture products.
• Analyze test data, maintain laboratory documentation, and investigate testing abnormalities.
• Support analytical method development, test transfers, validation, correlations, and special investigative projects.
• Train QA chemical technicians on new QA test methods and maintain production areas and equipment.

Requirements

• Basic scientific principles and laboratory experience.
• Ability to follow written directions and maintain a laboratory notebook.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety, including handling potentially infectious bio-waste.
• Good communication skills and computer literacy.
• Degree and knowledge of GMP, GLP, FDA, RCRA, and OSHA requirements may be required.
