TL;DR
Quality Control Laboratory Analyst (GMP/Analytical Chemistry): Performing laboratory analysis of raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, packaging materials, and development samples with an accent on GMP compliance, analytical procedures, and reliable results. Focus on instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, method development, root-cause investigations, and coordinating testing across rotating shifts.

Location: Greensboro Brown Summit Plant, United States; onsite work with 24/7 rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, overtime, and call-in availability

Salary: $29.42 per hour

What you will do

  • Collect, label, analyze, and record results for raw materials, intermediate products, finished goods, packaging materials, and development samples.
  • Perform analytical testing according to standard procedures while following GLP, cGMP, and good documentation practices.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments, troubleshoot routine issues, and assess the accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Support analytical method development with supervision and mentorship from laboratory leadership.
  • Write SOPs, deliver training, assess laboratory systems, coach employees on the manufacturing floor, and support product disposition where assigned.
  • Investigate quality system and process failures, identify root causes, and coordinate work priorities with Production Leads during night and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Two-year degree or higher in a science field, or five years of experience in a QC laboratory or GMP manufacturing operations.
  • Experience with basic laboratory operations, including weighing, titrating, and preparing volumetric solutions.
  • Ability to interpret analytical procedures and safety instructions using standard chemistry terminology and perform routine dilution, concentration, and test-result calculations.
  • Experience resolving operational or process failures, identifying root causes, and developing improvement plans.
  • Computer literacy, including standard software and the ability to learn laboratory software and instrumentation.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship; sponsorship and permanent-residency sponsorship are not available.
