What you will do

• Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, AI-ready data and analytics platforms on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, policies, Fabric capacities, workspaces, and governance settings.
• Manage ADLS Gen2, Delta Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, SQL pools, Spark runtimes, and compute capacity.
• Operate ingestion and transformation services including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, Fabric Data Factory, and Dataflows Gen2.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, autoscaling, performance tuning, cost control, tagging, and capacity optimization.
• Enable Power BI, Azure ML, Fabric ML, CI/CD, lifecycle management, and platform adoption across engineering teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on administration of Azure and Microsoft Fabric, including Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Policy, F SKUs, workspaces, OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, and Dataflows Gen2.
• Experience securing data platforms with network segmentation, private endpoints, Key Vault, managed identities, encryption, DLP, sensitivity labels, and audit logging.
• Knowledge of Power BI and Fabric tenant administration, gateways, semantic models, incremental refresh, Direct Lake, DirectQuery, and deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, KQL, Fabric capacity metrics, refresh diagnostics, query performance, and FinOps practices.
• Proficiency with Git workflows, YAML pipelines, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Bicep or Terraform, PowerShell or Azure CLI, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with AKS operations, Kubernetes security, Azure ML or Fabric ML, and adjacent platforms such as Azure Databricks, Event Hubs, or Kafka.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced Kubernetes capabilities such as ingress controllers, service mesh, workload identity, secrets integration, and cluster-level security hardening.
• Experience leading platform rollouts, defining standards and guardrails, and mentoring engineering teams.
