What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data integration and transformation solutions for an enterprise data platform.
- Onboard data sources such as Snowflake and Salesforce and create low-level integration designs.
- Build and support production-ready pipelines and workflows using GCP services including Dataflow, BigQuery, Composer, and Cloud SQL.
- Optimize data processing systems for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to data mesh adoption, platform modernization, automation, AI-driven governance, documentation, and proof-of-concept activities.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
- 2+ years of practical experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer, and Cloud SQL.
- Proficiency in Python or Java for pipeline development and strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Liquibase or Flyway, data integration, databases, and data connectivity.
- Exposure to Snowflake, CI/CD, GitLab CI, Terraform, and version control systems.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and modern data architectures; upper-intermediate or higher English required.
