What you will do

• Contribute to developing and testing Data & Analytics applications using Java, TypeScript, and cloud-native Azure solutions.
• Support scalable cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and platform reliability.
• Maintain production AI/ML systems through monitoring, observability, automation, testing, and deployment support.
• Work with large and complex datasets to build data pipelines, derive insights, and develop analytical or machine learning solutions.
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, product teams, business stakeholders, and operations teams.
• Translate designs into technical documentation and apply Agile, DevOps, and software engineering practices.

Requirements

• Final-year student at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, or Goa, pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Foundational programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript, or intermediate Python skills for AI engineering and data-focused assignments.
• Proficiency or foundational knowledge of Python and/or SQL, relational databases, data structures, algorithms, and basic statistics.
• Understanding of cloud computing, particularly Microsoft Azure, plus strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality software through testing, code reviews, documentation, and teamwork.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Spring Framework, React, Angular, Git, and CI/CD tools or concepts.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Azure Monitor.
• Exposure to Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, Spark, or large datasets.
