Cyber Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Zurich, Switzerland; hybrid 50:50 setup with office presence required 2–3 days per week

Base salary: CHF 108,000–162,000 annually for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based rewards and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage security operations and monitor alerts using advanced detection tools.
• Proactively detect, investigate, contain, and coordinate responses to major cyber incidents.
• Implement remediation strategies and maintain high operational standards.
• Develop and maintain production detection content.
• Track cybersecurity threats, trends, and offensive techniques.
• Participate in on-call rotations for urgent incidents outside regular working hours.

Requirements

• Experience as a Cyber Security Analyst or Incident Responder, preferably in a SOC or CSIRT environment.
• In-depth knowledge of the current threat landscape, offensive tooling, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK techniques, and the Cyber Kill Chain.
• Experience with malware and exploit analysis or reverse engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Development experience with Python, Kusto, or another scripting language.
• Experience with Azure or Amazon AWS.
• Experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, or DLP solutions.
