What you will do

• Assist the Principal Investigator with planning, implementation, and coordination of assigned clinical research studies.
• Recruit, screen, assess, consent, and retain study participants across clinic-based and remote research settings.
• Collect cognitive, behavioral, functional, psychiatric, and patient-reported outcome measures, along with biomarkers and other protocol data.
• Support device setup, remote monitoring, adherence tracking, troubleshooting, laboratory activities, and protocol-required tests such as EKGs and walk tests.
• Complete source-document abstraction, case report forms, data entry, quality checks, and resolution of data queries.
• Maintain regulatory documentation, support IRB submissions and reporting, monitor adverse events, and participate in sponsor site visits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/equivalent with four years of related experience.
• At least two years of experience in research-related activities.
• Organizational, data collection, record-keeping, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to assess participant eligibility, explain studies, obtain informed consent, and maintain patient confidentiality under HIPAA.
• Ability to follow FDA Good Clinical Practice Guidelines, institutional policies, and human-subject protection regulations.
• Basic Life Support certification may be required depending on role requirements.

Nice to have

• Five years of research-related experience, including two to five years in psychiatry, neurology, neuroscience, psychology, aging, or related clinical research settings.
• Previous clinical trial experience.
• Experience administering cognitive, behavioral, neuropsychological, functional, and patient-reported outcome measures.
• Experience with telehealth, home-based clinical research, noninvasive brain stimulation, neuromodulation, EEG, neuroimaging, digital health technologies, or biomarker-based research.
• IATA Hazardous Good Shipping and CITI Human Research Protection certifications.
