What you will do

• Present news stories and produce content for television, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Develop and enterprise impactful stories by evaluating leads, researching issues, and building a network of community sources.
• Shoot and edit video, write scripts and web content, and deliver engaging live shots, stand-ups, and interviews.
• Respond to breaking news and urgent newsroom situations while meeting deadlines and managing multiple assignments.
• Collaborate with management and newsroom personnel on story development, copy editing, programming, and special projects.
• Participate in public appearances, promotional activities, and community volunteer opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to ad lib when required.
• Superior on-air presence, strong news judgment, and broad knowledge of local and national current events, history, newsmakers, and issues.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, handle multiple tasks, and work effectively with a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Flexibility to work any shift; an online reel link is required with the application.

Nice to have

• Professional experience in news anchoring or on-camera news reporting.
