Salary: $172,500–$249,166.66 per year.

What you will do

  • Provide medical expertise and support for clinical studies in the immunohematology and sickle cell disease development program.
  • Contribute to clinical development strategy and drug product development through regulatory approval.
  • Support protocol and extended synopsis development, feasibility assessments, study start-up, conduct, closure, and publication.
  • Review and validate clinical data, assess study risks, and support medical monitoring and evidence-based decisions.
  • Engage investigators, clinical study units, clinical leads, clinical research directors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as a medical reference within clinical study teams and help ensure scientifically rigorous, medically relevant, high-quality studies.

Requirements

  • MD or MD/PhD with specialty training in a relevant medical discipline.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in clinical research, clinical development, academia, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, regulatory agencies, or a related environment.
  • Strong understanding of clinical development, drug development processes, protocol development, study conduct, and clinical data interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, clinical research methodology, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret complex scientific, clinical, and disease pathway data and translate findings into clinical development insights.
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

  • Hematology training or clinical experience.
  • Clinical expertise or experience in sickle cell disease or related hematologic disorders.
