TL;DR
Quality Technician (Nuclear): Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining customer quality documentation, reports, and records for nuclear and harsh-environment sensing products with an accent on documentation accuracy, data integrity, and quality compliance. Focus on generating shipment reports, supporting corrective actions and NCR tracking, calibrating inspection equipment, and ensuring complete production records.

Location: Twinsburg, Ohio, United States; onsite, full-time

Company

Develops and manufactures sensors and monitoring equipment for harsh environments, including radiation measurement, nuclear reactor monitoring, UV flame detection, and downhole sensing.

What you will do

  • Review customer engineering, QA, material, and drawing-revision requirements for production orders.
  • Prepare customer documentation packages for nuclear and other products, including reports, tests, certificates, and shipment records.
  • Enter, compile, digitize, organize, and archive data from travelers, tests, purchase orders, and quality records.
  • Generate electrical and dimensional reports before product shipment and verify that documentation is complete, legible, and properly approved.
  • Provide weekly reports on corrective actions and NCRs, maintain training records, and support QA/QC activities.
  • Calibrate inspection and measurement equipment and provide backup coverage for the Calibration Technician.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Record maintenance, accurate data entry, proofreading, and documentation-review skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to solve problems and support continual process improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience with gage calibration.

Nice to have

  • Experience with nuclear documentation and records.
  • Knowledge of nuclear codes and standards.
