Location: Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite only, with no remote or telework allowed.

Projected compensation range: $56,435.08–$98,129.65 per year. The posting also lists $5,000 under Salary.

What you will do

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost and risk analysis, and effectiveness analysis for complete systems.
• Conduct technical analysis supporting decisions that optimize the performance of large, complex systems.
• Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models for detailed technical analysis.
• Review system performance specifications and evaluate whether simulations and models accurately assess the required performance.
• Interpret analysis results, identify system issues, and present findings and recommended actions to customers.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications through functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science, or a similar technical discipline, plus 0–2 years of experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph.
• Competence or experience with one or more of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
• High computer literacy and the ability to learn complex applications and tools quickly.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to identify and accurately describe system issues.
• Ability to communicate confidently, articulately, and clearly in technical meetings and briefings.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
