FY28 Federal Tax Advisory Associate (Federal Credits Incentives)

Location: Madison, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

Salary: $61,600–$73,500 per year

What you will do

• Work on a team across tax specialty areas, including federal credits and incentives, corporate taxation, accounting methods and periods, and pass-through entity taxation.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Interpret tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work effectively on a team.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations are required.
• Entry-level candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future will not be hired.

Nice to have

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Progress toward successful completion of the CPA exam.
• Tax associates may obtain audit hours required for full CPA certification.
