2028 Tax Solutions Group Entry Level Staff (Tax)

Location: Principally in-person at offices in Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Detroit, East Lansing, Flint, Fort Collins, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Macomb, Schaumburg, Southfield, Toledo, or Traverse City, United States. Some local, national, and occasional international travel may be required.

Salary: $74,000–$83,000 annually for applicable offices in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, and Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Support projects involving cost segregation, fixed asset recovery periods, capitalization versus expense analysis, R&D tax credits, and domestic producer activities deductions.
• Work directly with clients to identify and resolve emerging issues.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax incentives, relevant codes, regulations, and administrative pronouncements.
• Assist clients with documenting credits and deductions in accordance with IRS regulations.
• Develop relationships with clients and staff through networking and business development activities.
• Build tax and tax consulting knowledge through exposure to both service lines.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented approach with leadership, problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting, or a master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Completion of the required degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of obtaining a CPA license.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
