Quantitative Risk Modeling Analyst II (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Apply data analytics to financial, transactional, demographic, and behavioral data to identify actionable insights.
• Pull, clean, and aggregate data from sources across the bank.
• Document analytical work and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with Risk Management Teams and compliance partners to identify opportunities for data analytics.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Risk Management Teams and present analytical results.

Requirements

• Advanced degree, such as a Ph.D. or master’s degree, in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or a related quantitative analytics field.
• At least 3 years of experience developing statistical or machine learning models.
• Mastery of statistics and numerical techniques.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements and writing model documentation.
• Proficiency in SQL and SAS, R, or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting analytical results and using Microsoft Office applications.
