Location: Houston, Texas, with hybrid work and up to 25% travel across a broad geographic region. The role requires work in a corporate office environment and field activities at tank and construction sites, including stair climbing, confined-space access, and work around heavy equipment.

What you will do
- Manage tank seal inspections, in-service API 653 inspections, tank levels of concern, compliance dates, and related database records.
- Support tank repairs, upgrades, new construction, engineering calculations, field verifications, and operational procedures in accordance with applicable API standards.
- Provide technical documentation and support for internal, PHMSA, state, and local regulatory audits.
- Prepare budgets, project scopes, schedules, cash-flow forecasts, reports, and presentations for management.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external project teams, including project managers, operations, maintenance, environmental engineering, and field engineering personnel.
- Investigate tank releases and overfills, develop corrective actions, and create or update tank operations programs, procedures, standards, and training.
Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering and at least 1 year of experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of API 650 and API 653; familiarity with API 510, API 2350, and DOT Part 195 regulations.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on large and complex projects with short deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and tank-management databases.
- Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, required safety certifications, TWIC eligibility, drug screening, and background checks are required.
- Must be able to work in office and field environments, enter confined spaces, climb tank staircases, work outdoors in changing weather, and respond to project support needs 24/7 when required.
