What you will do

• Support intra-group retrocession processes and external retrocession activities using data analysis and artificial intelligence techniques.
• Maintain, debug, and evolve Python code scripts for robust and scalable analytical and operational processes.
• Validate and analyze financial figures and act as a point of contact for questions about internal and external retrocession results.
• Contribute to the quarterly production of financial statements for intra-group and external retrocession.
• Support initiatives and projects related to the financial reporting landscape.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Risk Management professionals in an international team.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor's or master's program in data analysis, economics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong data analytics knowledge and the ability to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
• Interest in quarterly closing processes and financial reporting.
• Willingness to acquire knowledge of SAP, FPSL, and LFD systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent English, written and spoken, is required. Non-EU/EFTA and UK citizens must provide a certificate from a Swiss university confirming that the internship is integral to their course of study.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining, debugging, and enhancing complex codebases, such as Python projects.
• Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and IFRS 17.
