QA Test Engineer (Machine Control Systems)

Location: Brisbane, Australia; fully on-site at the Loganholme Test facility

What you will do

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and test 3D machine control systems on dozers, excavators, graders, and other heavy machinery.
• Own and execute field test strategies, including coverage planning and release sign-off.
• Investigate defects across hardware and software and drive their resolution with engineering and product development teams.
• Validate machine performance in real-world operating conditions.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure, including cabling, bracketry, and equipment.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with heavy machinery or 3D machine control systems.
• Technical, trade, or degree qualifications in construction, mechanical engineering, electronics, computing, or hydraulics, or at least 3 years of relevant QA or test engineering experience.
• White Card, First Aid certification, and a valid driver's licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required.

Nice to have

• GPS or surveying experience.
• Experience with TestRail or qTest.
• Fabrication, welding, hydraulics, or general mechanical experience.
