React Engineer

TL;DR

Location: Fully onsite position based at the Lisbon office. Open to support with relocation efforts.

Salary: €56K – €70K

What you will do

• Implement high-quality, responsive user interfaces following design specifications across browsers and devices.
• Develop and maintain code using React (or similar frameworks), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Optimize page load times, rendering performance, and overall user experience.
• Integrate with RESTful/GraphQL APIs in collaboration with backend teams.
• Apply best practices for accessibility (WCAG) and SEO.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Cypress) and participate in code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, around 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and experience with modern web frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
• Familiarity with front-end build pipelines (Webpack, Rollup), Git, and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue.js or Angular.
