Focus on leading an engineering team, developing ELT pipelines and automated validation, detecting manufacturing variation, and driving corrective actions across fab, assembly, and test processes.
Location: Ipoh, Perak, Malaysia; onsite with no remote work available

What you will do
- Lead and coach a small data analytics engineering team developing the analytics ecosystem and integrating upstream and downstream processes.
- Work with outsourced foundry, assembly, and test subcontractors to establish internal databases and manage supplier data integrity.
- Develop and maintain ELT data pipelines, automated tests, validation scripts, and data governance practices.
- Build data models and transformations for interactive real-time dashboards using tools such as Spotfire.
- Analyze manufacturing trends, defect rates, and process drifts to support immediate corrective actions and long-term improvement initiatives.
- Provide shift support and collaborate with internal and external functional groups.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering with a semiconductor focus.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, product engineering, or improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and semiconductor products and processes, including fab, assembly, test, and post-test operations.
- Hands-on experience with 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone problem-solving methodologies.
- Experience with analysis and visualization software such as JMP, Minitab, Spotfire, or Power BI.
- Strong English communication and interpersonal skills are required for collaboration with internal and external groups.
Nice to have
- Experience or knowledge in data analytics and predictive analysis.
- Ability to influence teams and drive timely resolution of quality issues.
- Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, digital twins, cloud computing, or edge computing.
