Senior Communications Specialist (Transportation)

What you will do

• Develop content for hirify.global communication channels to increase engagement and elevate thought leadership, people, and project work.
• Collaborate with internal business partners, creative, marketing, communications teams, and technical subject matter experts.
• Write and edit white papers, feature articles, thought leadership content, blogs, social media posts, presentations, project narratives, and case studies.
• Develop collateral and marketing campaign materials, research audience-focused content, and contribute to engagement programs.
• Deliver employee communications training, monitor industry best practices, and support events.
• Lead communications engagement activities, inform scope and budgets, and mentor junior specialists.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in communications, such as social media, event planning, community engagement, target marketing, descriptive writing, or public involvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with multiple teams and manage cross-functional efforts in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working with senior leaders and operating strategically and tactically.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

• Previous consulting or creative agency experience.
