Configuration Manager (DoD)

Location: Arlington, Virginia, United States; Workplace: On-site. Occasional travel of up to 10% may be required.

Salary: $97,000–$192,000 per year.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain configuration management procedures for the Advana System software baseline in accordance with government guidance.
• Manage software baselines, configuration items, version control, and lifecycle traceability.
• Establish and maintain the CMDB, baselines, configuration status accounting reports, and the Configuration Management Plan.
• Manage change requests, approvals, implementation, and configuration audits.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams, provide CM metrics to program management, and train team members on CM processes and tools.
• Continuously improve configuration management practices based on lessons learned.

Requirements

• Active SECRET security clearance is required.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Junior level: 0–3 years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Journeyman level: 4–7 years of experience and a bachelor's degree.
• Senior level: 8+ years of experience and a bachelor's degree; professional English proficiency, strong communication skills, self-starter mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required.
