Salary: CAD 22.41–26.19 hourly

hirify.global Health Services West operates and manages EMS services in Central Alberta as part of hirify.global, a not-for-profit health services organization.

What you will do

  • Provide timely non-emergency transportation between appropriate healthcare facilities.
  • Deliver patient care, assessments, and required skills in accordance with Alberta competency and medical control guidelines.
  • Safely operate, stock, and maintain EMS vehicles in a constant state of readiness.
  • Complete patient care reports, electronic patient care reports, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Coordinate with hospitals, public agencies, and other external partners on behalf of patients.
  • Respond professionally to conflict, public-facing situations, safety hazards, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Alberta operator’s licence, Class 1, 2, or 4.
  • Current registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
  • Completion of Alberta Health Services MCPs.
  • Current CPR certification and a required FARE Certificate.
  • Good physical health and ability to lift, move, and extricate heavy patients in hazardous environments.
