Data Scientist (CapCut)

Location: San Jose, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Salary: $144,000–$329,334 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Analyze large and complex datasets using quantitative, statistical, experimentation, and data-mining approaches.
• Define product goals, forecasts, and key metrics to measure product success and identify trends.
• Test product opportunities and improvement levers, using insights to influence roadmaps and investment decisions.
• Develop data pipelines and dashboards that improve data infrastructure and enable scalable data products.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, R&D, and other cross-functional teams on product strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or another science or engineering field.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience working with large datasets using SQL.
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in technology companies.
• Ability to perform rigorous analysis and communicate conclusions to technical and non-technical audiences.
