Quantitative Developer (Fixed Income)

Location: Hybrid in Pasadena, California, United States

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 annual base compensation, plus a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade fixed income risk solutions for customized client needs.
• Translate Investment Solutions team requirements into reliable software.
• Build and support portfolio and security-level risk analytics, data pipelines, and production systems.
• Enable portfolio risk, scenario analysis, and regulatory capital workflows.
• Collaborate with technology teams to deliver maintainable, production-ready solutions.
• Support business teams in realizing the full value of systems and data.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical role within quantitative finance or investment management.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and Linux.
• Solid understanding of fixed income instruments and risk calculation.
• Experience working with large financial datasets.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.

Nice to have

• Understanding of portfolio risk and scenario analysis.
• Experience with Aladdin.
• Postgraduate qualifications such as an MFE or CFA.
