Location: Somerville, United States
Compensation: $15–$18 per hour, approximately 12 hours per week with some fluctuation.
Company
is developing Edge of Elsewhere, a 12,000-square-foot immersive world of art, puzzles, secrets, and interconnected storylines scheduled to open in Somerville in Fall 2026.
What you will do
- Edit raw content and videos into short-form posts for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other channels.
- Add captions, cuts, music, and light motion or text treatments to make content platform-ready.
- Assist with the social media calendar, schedule posts, maintain a consistent cadence, flag gaps, and coordinate content with venue milestones.
- Organize and maintain the asset library, tracking raw, finished, used, and available content.
- Draft captions, apply the venue’s tone of voice, suggest voice refinements, and monitor relevant social trends.
- Provide light community management.
Requirements
- Strong short-form video editing skills, specifically for Instagram, TikTok, and Reels.
- Hands-on familiarity with social platforms as a creator.
- Organization, self-direction, attention to detail, and reliable deadline management.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to draft clean, concise captions.
- Strong interest in social media and marketing, with awareness of current platform trends.
Nice to have
- Motion graphics or light animation experience.
- Experience filming original content.
- Interest in immersive experiences, experiential projects, or the arts.
- Basic photo editing and graphic design skills.
