Junior Java Software Engineer (Java)

Location: Hybrid in Vilnius, Lithuania

Gross salary: €1,425–€2,000 per month

What you will do

• Support data migration and integration projects, moving information from various IT systems into X-Archive.
• Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using Java, Apache Camel, XML, and XSLT.
• Configure and deploy solutions in Linux-based environments.
• Collaborate with senior developers and stakeholders on data storage and retrieval solutions.
• Apply best practices in archiving, data security, and system interoperability.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from specification through development, testing, and launch.

Requirements

• Foundational knowledge of Java and interest in backend development.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Good written and spoken Lithuanian.
• Understanding of Agile ways of working or willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Apache Camel.
