Software Engineer: Full Stack - Python, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript (TS/SCI Clearance Required)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States. Active TS/SCI security clearance required, with the ability to obtain a polygraph.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy cloud-native software supporting GEOINT data access, visualization, and dissemination.
• Build and maintain secure, containerized microservices and RESTful APIs using technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, React, Node, and Spring Boot.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines while meeting security and government accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements and participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Perform code reviews, mentor developers, and resolve prioritized delivery tasks with internal teams.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance and ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with frontend and backend web development, including HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, REST APIs, and modern frameworks.
• Experience with AWS or Azure, relational databases, Linux and Windows, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and government accreditation processes such as RMF and STIGs.

Nice to have

• Go programming, UI/UX design, NoSQL databases, and additional AWS services.
• Multi-cloud environments, Terraform, Ansible, and geospatial tools such as GeoServer, PostGIS, OGC APIs, or ESRI ArcGIS.
• Experience delivering complex systems to production or supporting Intelligence Community customer contracts.
• AWS Certified Developer, Security+, or SAFe Practitioner certification.
