Sr. Internal Auditor

Location: Remote within the United States; company based in Chattanooga, Tennessee

hirify.global is a health insurance organization with an internal audit function focused on financial, compliance, and operational processes.

What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of risk assessments and audit plans.
• Define scope, objectives, and strategies for financial, compliance, and operational audits.
• Complete audit test work to identify improvements in operational process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Guide and direct the work of Internal Auditors.
• Represent Internal Audit on organizational project teams, at management meetings, and with external organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least four years of experience in audit, business analysis, project management and planning, or similar analytical and process-improvement work.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
