Staff Practice Accountant (Service Revenue)

What you will do

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support monthly close activities, consolidations, and financial statement preparation.
• Assist with variance analysis, financial reviews, audit schedules, and internal analyses.
• Maintain transaction documentation and contribute to new accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
• Identify process efficiencies, support ad hoc projects, and build relationships with practice and finance teams.

Requirements

• 0–4+ years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles, including debits, credits, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills, communication abilities, and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Attendance is an essential job function for this hybrid role in Nashville.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Active CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure.
• Working knowledge of Workday or another ERP platform.
