Associate Software Engineer - AI Agents (Satori) (Python, AI agents, microservices): Building features, agent runtimes, SDK components, and production-grade services for an enterprise AI agent platform with an accent on safety, evaluation, observability, and cloud-native development. Focus on implementing non-deterministic agentic systems, debugging services through logs and traces, and supporting reliable releases and on-call operations.
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland; on-site four days per week at the Belfast office

What you will do
- Build features and services on the Satori enterprise AI agent platform.
- Implement components of agent runtimes and SDKs used by product engineering teams.
- Contribute to evaluation suites, safety checks, telemetry, and AuthX release gates.
- Ship code and help operate production-grade services in a microservices cloud environment.
- Debug services, investigate logs and traces, and participate in an on-call rotation coordinated with US-based colleagues.
Requirements
- On-site availability in Belfast four days per week is required.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting applications in a microservices cloud environment, or entry into the role with a relevant Master's degree.
- Solid working experience with Python; TypeScript and Node are beneficial.
- Exposure to agentic or LLM-based systems and interest in AI agent frameworks or LLM SDKs.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, container systems, service debugging, logs, and traces.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; strong communication, collaboration, learning, and time-management skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with LangGraph, OpenAI or Anthropic Agents SDK, MCP, or LangChain.
- Exposure to OpenTelemetry and AWS.
- Interest in AI-driven development tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
- Familiarity with agentic communication protocols such as A2A and MCP.
