Director, Medical Affairs Congress Strategy and Execution (CNS)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $209,599–$313,375 per year, plus incentive opportunity

What you will do

• Develop and execute multi-year congress strategies aligned with the CNS product portfolio and Global Medical Affairs objectives.
• Lead the Congress Steering Committee and coordinate stakeholders across Medical Strategy, Publications, Scientific Communications, and other functions.
• Plan hirify.global’s scientific presence, including abstracts, posters, oral presentations, late-breaking sessions, symposia, investigator meetings, booths, and media activities.
• Extend congress engagement through digital, virtual, and hybrid solutions and manage pre-congress, on-site, and post-congress activities.
• Develop scientifically rigorous content, data visualizations, and scientific storytelling while maintaining compliance with publication embargoes.
• Set KPIs, analyze congress performance, benchmark results, and manage budgets and vendor oversight.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in life sciences; Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D. preferred.
• At least 10 years of Medical Affairs experience, including 5 or more years focused on congress strategy and execution.
• Demonstrated success planning and implementing congress programs on a global scale.
• Deep knowledge of the medical congress landscape and trends in scientific communications.
• Strong leadership, project management, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with key opinion leaders and align diverse stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in the CNS therapeutic area.
• Experience implementing digital and virtual congress solutions.
• Experience with budget management and vendor oversight.
