Senior AI Engineer

Location: QTSC1 Building, Quang Trung Software City, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM–06:00 PM, with a 1.5-hour lunch break.

What you will do

• Design and develop production-grade LLM-powered applications and AI services.
• Build RAG and data-grounding solutions using vector search, hybrid retrieval, reranking, knowledge graphs, and structured data retrieval.
• Design agentic systems with tool calling, multi-step reasoning, memory, context management, and orchestration.
• Create evaluation frameworks, regression testing, and failure-analysis processes for AI systems.
• Design for reliability, scalability, security, observability, cost, and latency, including monitoring of model performance and operational risks.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Software Engineering stakeholders, while mentoring engineers and contributing to technical standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering or AI engineering experience, including hands-on work with AI-powered applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong Python and software engineering skills, including system design, API development, testing, debugging, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, information retrieval, and AI agents.
• Experience with an AI/LLM framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel, plus production deployment experience.
• Understanding of cloud, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, observability, databases, data processing, and machine learning fundamentals. Effective English communication is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi-agent systems, MCP, tool-use, computer-use agents, knowledge graphs, semantic layers, or hybrid retrieval.
• Experience with multimodal AI, fine-tuning, model optimization, quantization, distillation, or self-hosted LLMs.
• Experience with AI security, MLOps/LLMOps, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, GCP, or regulated enterprise environments.
